Question 1

How do I download a YouTube thumbnail in Maximum Resolution (1280×720)?

Accepted Answer

Paste any YouTube video or Shorts URL into the Tarkek Yt Thumbnail Downloader and click Get Thumbnails. Click Download JPG on the Max Resolution (maxresdefault 1280×720) card to save the original uncompressed image.

Question 2

What YouTube thumbnail sizes are available?

Accepted Answer

Tarkek Yt extracts all four official YouTube thumbnail resolutions: Max Resolution HD (1280×720), Standard Definition (640×480), High Quality (480×360), and Medium Quality (320×180).

Question 3

Why are downloaded thumbnails saved through a proxy?

Accepted Answer

Fetching the thumbnail through our stateless proxy sets proper Content-Disposition download headers so your browser saves the .jpg file directly instead of opening it in a new tab.
